Mr. Kim is a legal intern at Fay Kaplun & Marcin. He participates, under the supervision of registered patent attorneys, in various stages of patent prosecution including drafting Amendments and Responses to Office Actions from the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
Prior to joining Fay Kaplun & Marcin, Mr. Kim worked as a paralegal for several years at a general practice law firm in Metro Atlanta, GA. He participated in drafting non-immigrant and immigrant petition packages including H-1B visa, permanent residency, and naturalization. Later, Mr. Kim completed his studies in Biology at Georgia State University including coursework in immunology, biochemistry, genetics, virology, and human physiology.
Mr. Kim completed his second year at Brooklyn Law School, after which he will pursue a career in Intellectual Property law.
