Ms. Chang has been with the firm since May 2005, participating in several areas of patent prosecution and litigation involving drafting patent applications and correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and researching matters pertaining to patentability and patent clearance opinions. She participates in the patent prosecution of a variety of technologies including medical devices, medical imaging, computer software and wireless technologies. Ms. Chang's work in patent prosecution is performed under the supervision of an attorney registered to practice in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Chang worked for the law firm of Hughes Hubbard & Reed, gaining litigation experience while participating in a large-scale pharmaceutical products liability case.
